Well I don't know where to start. After a weeks holiday of full french language  immersion with Gudrun there are so many good things to say about her and the course.

Firstly my listening skills jumped many places because she (Gudrun) speaks what I would call " BBC French " at a pace to suit your abilities. She has always got something to talk about so the are not many times you are not listening or chatting in French. I was amazed how much French I knew because this general chat brings all the the words you have learned back to life. Ones confidence grows throughout the week.

The course itself, unlike many, is a personal introduction to the spectacular Carmargue , including the famous beautiful white horses etc and the back country unseen by most. The introductions to many of Gudrun’s friends will give you that real feeling of immersion into la vie Provencal. If you enjoy photography you will be “ravi “ to know she has great enthusiasm for photography being an active member of the local photo group and will assist you to find those special images. She will always do her best to accommodate your smallest wishes.

Mon immersion linguistique avec Gudrun etait parfaite ! Le meilleur que j'ai fait en France ! Vraiment different ! Gudrun's univers est incroyable et tres accueillant et elle est une coach passionnee et tres competente.  Je n'ai plus peur de parler en francais . Tous les contacts avec la population locale was faciles, et tres chaleureux et je me sentais comme une amie ! Le petit dejeuner et le aperitif avec les guests français de sa chambre d'hote est un bon moment pour rire et bavarder ... et le vin "gris de gris" est toujours frais :-). Je suis tombé en amour pour la Camargue et voudrais rester ici ... peut-être un jour !

I was fortunate enough to spend a week with Gudrun last summer and it was the best week of a 3 month stay in France for me. I only wish i had known about her sooner and spent more time with her instead of the larger language schools in Montpellier and Perpignan.  Gudrun is an excellent French teacher and generously shares her passion for "la vie camarguaise" with warmth and enthusiasm and even makes a stroll through a little village an interesting and educational adventure...!  Highly recommendable !

Oh Gudrun... der graue Alltag in Berlin hat mich wieder ein, quel dommage la stage est finie ! J'ai aimé être dans ta belle maison colorié, la Camargue,  les promenades, la manade, et les cours à la plage et tout !!  Einmalig ! Toll, erlebnis- und lehrreich wie bisher kein Sprachkurs  ... je me suis régalé (comme vous dites au sud)! Je suis déjà nostalgique (?) et vais demande à mon chef une autre vacances bientot... mes amitiés à tout Aigues-Mortes, à Laura, Vincent et autres ... venez tous me visiter à Berlin ! Merci  beaucoup beaucoup, nous nous reverrons ! Ne change rien, tout est perfekt !

I wasn't sure what to expect before / a typically French Chambre d'hote that is beautifully rustic in it's appeal, and with Gudrun to make you speak French the day along and show you all the best locations that the guide books don't mention you can unlock the real charm of the Camargue...

Tres exciting program, très bons resultats! Merci Gudrun, tu es extra ordinaire , je reviens en Janvier pour ton program about les truffles in Provence.... je veux chercher mais aussi manger les truffles! A bientot !
